Users of Yahoo’s online Mail service can take advantage of a variety of convenient features that are meant to make email management simple and efficient. Users can use one of these capabilities to archive, categorize, retrieve, and delete emails that have been sent at any time they wish. You simply need to learn a little bit about Yahoo Mail and its settings in order to understand why your sent emails aren’t showing up.
Emails That Have Been Sent Are Stored In The Sent Email Folder.
When sending emails, Yahoo Mail gives users the option of saving them in a special folder called the “Sent” folder. A text link to this area can be found on the left sidebar of your Yahoo Mail account, under the “Drafts” folder, which allows you to access it. Typically, unless Yahoo is experiencing a problem on its end, emails do not appear in this area because the Yahoo Mail feature designed to copy them to this area has been turned off in the account settings.

If you gave someone access to your account, it’s possible that person switched off the feature because he didn’t want you to see any of the emails he had sent to your account. Someone could have hacked into your account and disabled this feature to prevent you from discovering whether your account was used to send unsolicited mail to your address book contacts and other recipients. Hackers frequently exploit other people’s email accounts to send messages with links to dangerous malware and malicious websites that can be downloaded.
Modify The Settings
To access the main account settings in your Yahoo Mail account, hover your cursor over the gear icon and pick “Mail Options” from the menu that appears. If Yahoo doesn’t open the General settings section automatically, select “General” from the Mail Options area on the left sidebar and follow the on-screen instructions. Select the Sending Messages section from the navigation bar, check the box next to “Save a copy of this message in the Sent folder,” and then click on the “Save” button to enable the save sent mail feature.

Accounts That Have Been Hacked
If you believe that someone has hacked into your Yahoo Mail account, make the necessary changes to safeguard yourself and, if possible, alert the perpetrator. Change your password and security questions as soon as possible by clicking the gear icon and selecting “Account Info.” Sign in when prompted. For malicious spam, pick the message and click the down arrow next to “Spam,” then select “Report Spam” from the drop-down menu. If you believe the sender is a victim of hacking, choose “Report a Hacked Account” from the drop-down menu.
Yahoo Customer Care should be contacted if the stored sent emails feature isn’t switched off and you believe there is a problem on their end (see Resources).
As of July 2013, the information in this article is applicable to Yahoo Mail. It is possible that it will differ somewhat or dramatically from other versions or items.

If You Are Unable To Send Emails, Please Let Us Know.
It’s possible that you’re just making a few minor mistakes.
All properly sent emails will appear in your “Sent” folder first, so double-check that folder first. If it’s there, that means it was delivered.
Please double-check your “Drafts” folder to see if the email was sent, as it is possible that you did not in fact send it.
Double-check the spelling of the recipient’s email address to ensure that you’ve delivered the message to the correct individual. Check to see that you haven’t blacklisted their IP address as well.
Finally, request that the receiver check their own Spam folder, filters, and blacklisted addresses list to guarantee that your email did not encounter any obstacles on its journey to them.
